Cosmology

The Seven Vessels

The Seven Vessels are the Amian cosmology: Stone, Water, Wind, Glass, Root, Ember, and Ash. Each is a world layer, an ethical lesson, and a daily practice.

A cosmos of bowls

In the mythic system, the first resonance of Amia falls into seven bowls. Each bowl holds a mode of being and a form of human responsibility.

The Vessels are not ranked. They cycle through ordinary life: structure, flow, breath, reflection, obligation, response, and remainder.

Stone

Structure, patience, shelter, promises that can bear weight.

Water

Memory, grief, adaptation, forgiveness that still remembers.

Wind

Speech, breath, news, rumor, and the ethics of what enters a room.

Glass

Reflection, transparency, distortion, and the courage to be seen.

Root

Kinship, obligation, dependency, and unseen nourishment.

Ember

Moral heat, creative risk, protest, repair, and response.

Ash

Remainder, endings, compost, and what becomes fertile after loss.
